Loan Officer

Overview:
The Loan Officer is a dimensional and critical role which provides superior member service by accurately and efficiently performing all member lending-related transaction(s), and responsibly making sound lending decisions in accordance with My Pensacola Credit Union policies and procedures. This role requires a strong ability to communicate in all communication channels professionally and effectively with prospective and current members on a broad range of situations. The Loan Officer must possess knowledge of all Credit Union products and services and be able to explore member needs, listen for clues, and provide solutions that meet their financial and credit needs. A Loan Officer must be flexible and willing/able to migrate lending platforms seamlessly, assist in collection duties, as needed, and work as a part of a team.

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience - Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent (some college education or business courses preferred), minimum of three years appropriate financial service experience, and must be able to be actively registered with the Registry (NMLS).

Technical Skills Training - Adequate computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word and Excel.

Other Skills - Strong people skills, comfortable multi-tasking, ability to work independently AND as a member of a team, and capable in a relationship-focused sales environment.
