When a debit card purchase is made, the transaction is rounded up to the next dollar, and the increased amount is then transferred to the savings, Christmas Club or another checking account. i.e. If you spend $5.75, the transaction is rounded up to $6.00 and the extra $0.25 is placed in the account of your choice!
