New Cantonment Branch Construction Begins!

MY PENSACOLA CREDIT UNION BREAKS GROUND ON NEW
CANTONMENT BRANCH LOCATION
February 5, 2024 (Pensacola, Florida): On the last day of January, My Pensacola Credit Union management and Board of Directors, along with representatives from builder and architect firms donned hard hats with shovels in hand at a groundbreaking ceremony for the Credit Union’s new Cantonment area branch that will be located at 10330 Pensacola Blvd., Pensacola, FL 32534.
“We have been busy behind the scenes planning and getting everything approved to get to this point of initial celebration of another physical location to serve our members and local community!” explains James Phetteplace, President and Chief Executive Officer of My Pensacola CU. “With the support of our Board of Directors and great partnership with Joy Gordon Construction and Sam Marshall Architects, we are ready to get started bringing our new branch vision to fruition.” Phetteplace continues, “As with our other location, this new facility offers local residents the opportunity to conveniently bank with us in-person through our lobby and drive-thru. This new location will also include such features as an open outdoor area with cover for special events.”
“I’m thrilled we will be able to play a role in helping our Credit Union serve more of our members and community by way of this new branch location,” explained Phetteplace. “Our members have already expressed great excitement around the new branch. And when we were taking pictures during the groundbreaking ceremony, several people in cars passing by honked and waved in excitement! I know this location will quickly become a staple for those in the area to conduct their banking with a trusted, local provider.”
